The Teams channel brings your agent into Microsoft Teams, answering when it’s mentioned in the channels you choose.

Set it up

Open Channels → Microsoft Teams, choose Connect to Microsoft Teams, and follow the three steps:
  1. Connect your Microsoft account. Authorising Teams lets Cando match Teams members to their Cando accounts when they mention an agent, so the agent knows who’s asking
  2. Add the Cando app to Teams. Install Cando in Teams and open the channel where this agent should respond
  3. Add it to the right channel. Use the Cando compose command to add the agent to the channel, then mention it to start chatting

Talking to your agent

Mention the agent in the connected channel and it replies in the conversation. As with Slack, one channel connects to one agent, so different teams can have different agents behind their channels, and everything the agent does through Teams is on the record in Cando.
