The email channel gives your agent its own inbox. Anything sent to the address becomes a conversation with the agent: forwarded invoices, customer questions, that report a supplier sends every Friday.

Set it up

Open Channels → Email and enable it. The agent gets its own address, shown on the screen with a copy button. Share it, forward to it, or wire other systems’ notification emails at it. One setting to know: the attribution stamp toggle adds a “Sent by [agent] on Cando” line to the agent’s outbound replies. Leave it on for transparency with external correspondents; turn it off when replies should read as plain email.

What the agent does with mail

Each email arrives as work: the agent reads it, acts on it with its usual instructions and connections, and replies from its address when a reply is due. The conversation is on the record in Cando, so you can always see what came in and what went out.

Turning it off

Disable removes the address. Mail to it stops arriving, and nothing else about the agent changes. Re-enabling issues a fresh address.
